Store Manager

Who are we looking for?

The Store Manager is an individual who very detail-oriented and highly sociable. He/She has a strong sense of urgency, but not at the expense of quality. This person draws energy from working with people and is optimistic and outgoing. The Store Manager shows up to work on-time, looking ready to motivate his/her team to have a great day taking care of our clients. Store profitability and customer satisfaction will be his/her top priorities. He/She will also be responsible for Store Attendant training and performance. Finally, the Store Manager will schedule routine maintenance and repairs for all machines and ensure they are fully operational.

What will you do?
These are the standards a well-above-average performer will maintain or exceed:

Ensure that Laundry Luv exceeds all customer expectations, especially in areas of customer service and store cleanliness, space, and safety.
Ensure that Store Attendants show up on time, look good, and are courteous to all customers.
Ensure that all machines are returned to fully functional status within 3 business days of downgraded status.
Ensure that store is always thoroughly cleaned, furniture is in appropriate places to ensure space plan is executed, and all lighting is used.
Ensure ongoing training is executed for Store Attendants.
Meet one-on-one with Store Attendants to ensure personal life and professional life are going well.
Optimize signage at store to simplify customer experience.
Constantly collect feedback from customers on how to improve experience at store.
Constantly collect information on competitor stores in the area.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Maintain store profitability.
Ensure optimal pricing strategy is executed.
Pay attention to store machine usage statistics. Regularly report these statistics to regional manager.
Keep the store clean, well lit, and secure.
Keep the customers happy and always offer help.
Maintain machines and notify leadership of issues immediately.
Execute Store Attendant training.

One of our main initiatives is to support childhood literacy by building a children's play area and a reading center in every one of our stores. We bring in books each month to our stores and encourage each child to take a book (for free) back to their home. We are committed to supporting reading programs for children in our communities and partnering with local libraries.

In addition to our work with children's literacy, we also host monthly community events such as backpack and school supply giveaways, donations of turkey dinners at Thanksgiving, photos/gifts with Santa, breast cancer support and research fundraising, veteran support, and even Free Laundry Day events.
